Fired Up Pizza is Executive Chef Michael Rice's lifelong dream made real — a wood-fired, craft pizza concept rooted in Italian family tradition and a deep belief that the dinner table is the best place to be.
The chef behind the fire
Michael Rice grew up cooking in his grandmother's Italian kitchen. He later became an Executive Chef at two Cameron Mitchell Restaurants in Columbus before building something of his own.
Built on craft
Every pie starts with flour and tomatoes imported from Italy, hand-rolled dough, and scratch sauces — then cooked in a Four Grand Mere wood-fired oven conceived in France for Fired Up Pizza.
Food that brings people together
The Worthington location pairs a full Italian market with dine-in, takeout, delivery, and the Heat & Eat program — chef-prepared, wood-fired food for any night of the week.
The oven goes where the party is
The mobile wood-fired oven travels to weddings, block parties, tailgates, and corporate events across the Columbus area.
